Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the image of a doctor in the genre of feuilleton on the material of the research of “Fragments of Moscow Life”. The author shows how the image of a doctor was transformed in the later works of Anton Chekhov and describes the means of creating comedy and irony, which the writer used in his work.
